Weather in Tampa can be humid with frequent rainfall from June to September. July is the warmest month in this season and temperature usually reaches over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Aside from this, June to November is also the hurricane season. These are the reasons why this period is considered off season for airlines.
Tampa has pleasant weather with less rain and an average temperature somewhere between 60 and 80 degrees from December to May. It’s very cool during January, so people don’t go to the city during this time for water sports.
People usually visit Tampa from October to April, when the hurricane season is fading and just before it becomes humid again. It is during this period that the hotels, discos, restaurants, and other sites in the city display their full colors to attract visitors.
The temperature along the coast is actually relatively bearable, even during the summer, as long as it is windy enough. Some people do not mind the humidity and go there during this time to save on plane fare.
